more than a hoodie

Introducing COCOON, the debut zip-up hoodie from QUEEN GODDESS Apparel – a symbol of strength, resilience, and self-discovery.

It’s mental health wrapped in fashion.

Originally crafted as a one-of-a-kind sample for a streetwear brand that never took flight, this hoodie found its true purpose in the hands of a resilient woman who turned it into her sanctuary during a time of heartbreak and self-reflection.

It’s Okay Not to Be Okay

In a world where strength is celebrated, vulnerability is often misunderstood. COCOON is a reminder that even the strongest among us need support. At QUEEN GODDESS Apparel, we embrace the truth that asking for help is not a sign of weakness but a courageous step towards healing and growth.

Meet the team

Yvette Terblanche
Creative director

I’m addicted to Coke Zero, or anything with carbs actually. I only recently jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon, very late I know! I’m currently devouring the third book. I secretly believe in Astrology, and according to a Numerologist I met in Cambodia I will retire quite early in life, which is nice. I love drawing, although I don’t do it nearly enough. I love all things beautiful especially decorative rugs and pillows which are currently sprawled all around my house, I am in constant fear of drowning in pillows while sleeping! I suffer from horrible allergies, but never take medication. My struggle is real.

Currently residing in South Africa (in-between), Tanitia has leveraged her years working in the hospitality industry and honed her love for the written word into a career in marketing. When she’s not writing for work, she spends her time invested in the tragic romance, caffeine, and studies as she completes her Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing.

David Ebenezer Oluwatosin
community manager

David, from Nigeria and happens to be the ‘Ebenezer’ which means the last baby of his mother. He believes that “knowledge is power. Everyone should improve themselves and/or business, no matter what stage in life they’re in. Whether it’s to develop a better mindset or to increase profits. Moving forward is key”.

He enjoys surfing the web for research and reading books related to his areas of interest – which are Marketing, Digital, and Social Media Technology to find the Antidotes to people’s needs. Because of this, he has gained vast knowledge in digital skills, tools, techniques, and strategies which he loves to share and implement to help businesses move from that point they are to that point which they so much desired.

Joel Delane
Web Design & Developer

Hi, I’m Joel a husband and father of 2. I am an avid supporter of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, so most weekend’s you’ll catch me down at the club chanting my lungs out with my son. I’m a front end engineer by trade and also manage software development teams too. I love watching a project develop from its infancy and picture a project like Lego blocks (another passion of mine). To relax I love binging a good box set on the sofa with a coffee….or two, or three 😉
